When we finally reached the beach and came out of the woods, I almost melted at the sight. The sand was loose and white beneath my feet. And people had put up large pieces of driftwood in the sand and had lit candles atop them. Down the beach there was a group gathered round a fire. The ocean was an inky black-blue that looked smoother than silk. And the sky..... ohhh.... the sky..... It was a deep, rich, velvety blue dotted with silver stars. Across the water, over the mountains, the sun had just set and there was a vivid halo of purple light embracing the horizon.

It was just one of those moments that make you go “Wow! I’m alive. I’m here. and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”
